Georgia gives me a tip

Welcome to the new-look Undivided blog!

New-look, yes, but our aim is for it to continue to bring inspiration to people considering or engaging in a celibate lifestyle as Christians. Celibacy, the Jesus-way, is a gateway to so much …

We love your comments and hope to widen the undivided bloggers’ team in the future. See above for the team so far – if you hover over an image, it shows some info on each person.

Forthcoming blog posts include an account of the lives, as well as comments on, influential celibate Christians such as David Brainerd and Aidan of Lindisfarne.

Now, my friend, Georgia, has just come into the office and, leaning over my shoulder, reads the beginning of this ‘welcome blog’ and says, “Why on earth do you call it ‘Undividedblog’ when you are ‘divided’?”

Well, I look rather puzzled and she explains to me, “You’re divided! Your love is divided up to be shared with many people!” (Georgia has recently got married, you understand.)

“Yes, I never thought of that,” I said. The ‘Dividedblog’. We could call it that, but let’s leave it as it is for now!

Apart from the general facelift, the main difference is that we now have our own domain ( Take a few moments to look around the links in the menu above and try out the new social media buttons to share with all your friends. And make sure you subscribe to receive future blog posts by email (see sidebar to the right).

And, of course, we’re always open to suggestions about how we could improve things. Feel free to add your own ideas in the comments for this post.

Once again, welcome to the new-look Undivided blog!

Cool. Nice one, jfaire!

A shout out to Aidan for helping us get this up and running.

I’m looking forward to seeing where things go in this next chapter. 🙂
